Institutional Review
Under the Qualifications (Education and Training) Act 1999 and according to the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area [1], providers of education have primary responsibility for their quality assurance. A key element of quality assurance is the external review of the institution as a whole. Under National College of Ireland’s quality assurance procedures, HETAC will undertake this review of NCI on the 8th-10th February 2010. HETAC is our awarding body for programmes at level 6 and above, of the National Framework of Qualifications

- to confirm the extent that NCI has implemented the national framework of qualifications and procedures for access, transfer and progression
