Entry Requirements

Undergraduate courses

Qualification Leads to entry into
2 years of National Senior High School Graduation Certificate Foundation (please contact us for your options)
3 years of National Senior High School Graduation Certificate with 70% or above  Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
One year at a recognised university in China with an overall average of 70% (GPA 2.0/4) or above  Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
A recognised International Foundation course from an Irish/UK institution or a Chinese institution following a validated Irish/UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65% Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
Dazhuan two year Diploma in a relevant subject area with 75% or above  Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
Dazhuan three year Diploma in a relevant subject area with 70% (GPA 2.0/4) or above  Year 2 of Bachelors degrees  Year 3 of Bachelors degrees if in a closely related subject area. 

 

Entry onto Postgraduate courses

If you are applying for a Masters (e.g. MA, MSc) course at NCI, you will be required to meet the English Language Requirements and will typically have one of the following qualifications:

- Students must have studied a 4-year degree programme. 
- Bachelor degree from a recognised university with a minimum average of 70% or GPA 2.0/4
- Dazhuan or Zhuanke 3 year diploma with minimum 75% average plus minimum 5 years relevant working experience (entry onto certain Business Master’s programmes only)
