Entry Requirements

Undergraduate courses

 

Qualification Leads to entry into
Students with Singapore/Cambridge ALevels or the International Baccalaureate Diploma  Year 1 of Bachelor degrees 
Polytechnic Certificate with 60% or GPA 2.0/4.0 or higher Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
 Polytechnic Diploma with 60% or GPA 2.0/4.0 or higher  Year 2 of Bachelors degrees (if subjects closely match)
 Polytechnic Advanced Diploma with 65% or GPA 2.4/4.0 or higher  Year 2 of Business Degrees or Year 3 of Computing degrees (if subjects closely match)
Successful completion of 1 year at a recognised university in Singapore with a good grade Year 1 of Bachelors degrees
A recognised International Foundation course from an Irish/UK institution or a Philippine institution following a validated Irish/UK syllabus. Entry requirements vary but we normally ask for between 60% and 65%  Year 1 of Bachelors degrees

 

Entry onto Postgraduate courses

If you are applying for a Masters (e.g. MA, MSc) course at NCI, you will be required to meet the English Language Requirements and will typically have one of the following qualifications:

Holders of a 4 year Bachelor (Honours) degree with a 2.2 result / GPA 2.0/4.0 or GPA 3.0/5.0 from one of the following Public Autonomous Universities: 

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) 
National University of Singapore (NUS) 
Singapore Institute of Technology 
Singapore Management University (SMU) 
Singapore University of Social Sciences 
Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
