Online Courses

NCI have developed a number of part-time courses that are taught online with a handful of face-to-face classes, providing a flexible approach to learning.

With online learning our students have the freedom to choose where they attend their online classes, be it at home or at their office desk. These lessons are live classes where you can fully partake in the lecture. The lecture is then available for you to review in your own time. You can view our students’ experience in the video below.

NCI have chosen a blended approach that schedules some classroom-based lectures alongside the online classes. This gives students the opportunity to meet-up in the college and speak directly with lecturers.

How Online Learning Works

Take Online Classes from Home
Each week you are required to participate in a class via the internet and to watch a streamed lecture and follow up question and answer sessions. Recordings of all online classes will then be available for you to review in your own time

Some Face to Face Sessions
For certain modules you will attend a regular class on campus. This may be for a presentation, an assessment or other work that is covered best by a traditional classroom setting. This has the benefit of allowing you time to meet with your lecturer and classmates. These sessions will be minimised to reduce travel time too NCI.

Flexible Activities
Throughout the course you will engage in online activities and have online learning materials available to you. These resources will help you to learn and apply the new knowledge presented in lectures and classes.

Before starting any online course we will schedule a full induction with you to make sure you are totally comfortable with this method of study.
