Minimum Entry Requirements

Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for third level education in their home country. In addition, applicants must meet NCI requirements for the particular programme applied for.

Applicants whose first language is not English must attach a certified qualification of proficiency in English. The following qualifications will fulfil the college's minimum requirements for undergraduate programmes:

Applicants who do not have a certified qualification of proficiency in English can sit the NCI TELL (Test of English Language Level) which is free for NCI applicants.    Spaces are limited to 6 candidates per test.  Candidates are not guaranteed a place unless it is booked in advance. To book a place contact the International Office on 01 4498663.

Completion of Secondary Level Education through the medium of English in the below countries provides exemption from the above tests. Proof of completion of these tests is necessary at application stage.
