Graduate Profiles

Darren GalvinDarren Galvin from Intel recently undertook the MSc in Learning Technologies. He says: “Following the course I moved from a technical role to a people and development role. The course looked at learning solutions like Wikis, blogs and podcasts. These are really relevant to what we are doing today at Intel.”


 

Sgt. William Fitzgerald, Directorate Defence Forces Training in Dublin, did the MSc in Learning Technologies. He says: “I was coming back to education for the first time in many years. I found everyone at NCI really supportive. The lecturers were really helpful and I also learnt a lot from the other students on the course. The material delivered covered the most cutting edge technology…Doing the MSc has really helped me to progress in my career.”  


Diana ChihaiaDiana Chihaia is undertaking the MSc by Research: “In NCI you are really well guided by your supervisors and you get to collaborate with people studying in the same area.”  

 


 

Emer WilsonEmer Wilson studied the Higher Diploma in Business in e-Business. She says: “I have a degree in Computer Science and have worked in various IT roles from programming to project management…I found the lecturers at NCI display a knowledge that is both up to date and goes beyond the academic. Their broader experience is brought to bear.”
