Luna Technologies has created advanced software solutions within the financial services area, with a specific emphasis on the collective funds industry. Channel Content are a learning and communications company, creating high impact solutions to support sales, marketing and training initiatives. Video, multimedia and blended solutions are our speciality. Our expertise is in content planning, creation and delivery utilising the full range of media from print to all types of digital formats (CD, DVD, internet, mobile devices etc.) The company founders have been working in the digital content area since the mid-1980s specialising in elearning, consumer and corporate multimedia, and communications. They work with corporate, government and education clients in Ireland and abroad. Recent clients include: Vodafone, Nokia, AIB, IBEC, KESP, NCI, TCD, IADT, CIT, WIT, and The Open Training College.

CALOM TECHNOLOGIES

Calom Technologies develops consumer side solutions for watching TV and Video on Demand. Calom’s core product, iPIC, powers set top boxes and TVs and integrates Personal Video Recorder functionality and Video on Demand in one easy to use device. The company supplies a hardware device that connects to the TV which will allow viewers watch and record TV as well as watch on demand content supplied by our partners. Founded in 2008, Calom was incubated as part of the DIT's Hothouse Program and is recognised by Enterprise Ireland as a High Potential start up.

STAFF BALANCE

Staff Balance, one of Enterprise Ireland’s High Potential IT companies, helps organisations to determine their optimum staffing levels by building a model of how staff spend their time and at what cost. Using a specially developed Time-Driven Activity-Based Cost Management simulation model, Staff Balance advise companies on how to adjust costs, structure and processes to create a highly effective organisation. LUCEY TECHNOLOGY

Lucey Technology was established in February 2009 by co-founders, Ian Lucey and Joe Healy. Lucey Technology is a new software and services business primarily serving the SME market. Utilising Web 2.0 technology, Lucey Technology provides a range of offerings to Professional Services Firms such as accountants and solicitors which are accessible via an internet portal. Services such as online invoicing, data storage, collaboration and off-shoring will become accessible to firms that otherwise would not be in the position to avail of them. Initially this offering will be rolled out in Ireland but the scalability and universality of the services is such that expansion into the UK and North American markets will progress over the coming year.

WEBSTRONG

Webstrong builds custom web applications for business as well as building and releasing niche web based products. Iarfhlaith Kelly is the lead developer and CEO at WebStrong. His vision for the company is to build a collection of web based products that help people be more connected online. In May, WebStrong was announced as the winner of a Net Visionary Award for Web Developer Excellence for its work on a new type of Twitter search engine called Twission. This service lets people search what’s happening right now, and then also lets them see how connected they are to the people in the results. It’s a great way to widen your social network and meet new people.

OfficeMetrics has aggressive international growth plans. OfficeMetrics is an online service that helps organisations improve productivity by automatically tracking time that employees spend on projects, applications, documents, websites etc. Their online service helps employees focus on the more important aspects of their jobs and pinpoints inefficient work practices. The company has won many awards including the Docklands Innovation Park Enterprise award and the InterTradeIreland Top Emerging company award. Their service is used by 80,000 users worldwide.

Barracuda FX is a provider of financial markets software solutions.
