Professional Education and Training Project Manager
National College of Ireland (NCI) is consolidating its position in the area of Professional Education and Training and now wishes to build on this progress through the recruitment of an experienced project manager.
This role will be responsible for ensuring effective organisation, design, delivery, and where appropriate development of professional education programmes. A key responsibility will be coordination between the PET unit and the relevant school and the development and mentoring of the team who deliver the programmes. The role holder will also be responsible for working with stakeholders to develop and manage the delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events for programmes.
Key accountabilities for the role will include:
- Academic Leadership
- Programme, Module & CPD Development
- Project Management
- Lecturing and Delivery of Taster Sessions
- Interaction with PET & PFP Corporate Clients
- Corporate Relations and Pastoral Care
The ideal candidate will have significant project management experience, strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor a virtual/matrix team who will deliver the programmes. They will have experience in development and delivery of academic programmes with knowledge of academic quality procedures in a similar environment. They will be educated to postgraduate level, have an appreciation of technology, a willingness to adapt to change and a passion for education.
The role reports to Dean of School of Business with delegation as appropriate to the Head of Professional Education and Training.
Salary: €48,000 – €53,000
Annual Leave: 21 days
