Purpose of Position

The Cloud Competency Centre (CCC) at the National College of Ireland invites applications for a Senior Applied Data Scientist to lead applied analytics, quantitative modelling, and AI-driven innovation across large-scale EU-funded projects including DIGITAL4Business and GreenShift. These projects support the European Union’s Digital Decade and Green Deal agendas by strengthening SME digitalisation, advancing sustainability metrics, and enhancing applied digital skills capacity across Europe.

This is a senior applied research role suited to an experienced quantitative specialist with demonstrable expertise in mathematics, data analytics, statistical modelling, and enterprise software systems.
