Research is at the heart of NCI’s Strategic Plan 2022-2027, building upon the existing 2019-2023 Academic Strategy to ensure that research is strategically planned and adequately resourced.
To achieve our goals, this Research Strategy becomes an integral component of NCI's overall institutional strategy. It ensures that our current and future research endeavours are aligned with best national and international practices, elevating NCI’s reputation, relevance, and impact both in Ireland and abroad. By closely aligning with national and international academic guidelines, we position ourselves as a key player in driving research excellence.
