CCC in the news: data privacy tools for the quantum age


Dr. Luis Bernardo Pulido-Gaytan, Postdoctoral Researcher at NCI's Cloud Competency Centre, was honoured to be featured in Silicon Republic for his work on privacy-preserving machine learning models in AI.

Dr Pulido-Gaytan says: “Privacy-preserving modelling represents a rapidly growing research area with many potential applications and substantial benefits.”

Homomorphic encryption (HE) as a valuable tool for data security, specifically within the quantum computing era. Bernardo was interviewed on his work with HE and his research with the Cloud Competency Centre. His research here is invaluable in the field of Cloud Computing and privacy concerns with computing.

As a rapidly growing research area with many potential applications and substantial benefits, Bernardo was delighted to be chosen as a featured researcher in Silicon Republic.
