National College of Ireland, in partnership with Maynooth University, awarded €378K from Enterprise Ireland


 

National College of Ireland is delighted to announce that in partnership with Maynooth University, Project Metanode has just been awarded €378K for Direct costs and an estimated €113K in hosting costs from Enterprise Ireland, in a follow-up grant to continue development of an AI-first, digital ecosystem for adaptive learning. 

Metanode is a collaborative commercialisation project led by Dr Michael Goldrick and Dr Keith Maycock, which aims to harness the power of AI to create personalised, multimodal learning paths at scale. It will provide real-time analysis to help managers and educators in large-scale organisations and Higher Education institutions to track progress, engagement, pain points, and overall performance. 

 

“Metanode will transform learning into a living ecosystem by mapping knowledge, skills, and connections in real time. By combining AI-driven insights with adaptive, mobile, and collaborative learning, it empowers organisations and Higher Education Institutes to identify knowledge gaps, support learners before they fall behind, and create measurable pathways to success.” ~ Dr Michael Goldrick, Assistant Professor in Learning and Teaching at National College of Ireland.
