Marking the Death of NCI Lecturer, Dr Paul Hayes

It is with profound sadness that National College of Ireland shares the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Dr Paul Hayes, following a short illness. Dr Hayes was a lecturer in NCI’s School of Computing for over 23 years, and will be deeply missed by colleagues, students and the entire NCI community. Over his many years of service Paul saw the growth of our college and made a valuable contribution to our work and to the lives of many students.

The College would like to extend its deepest sympathy to the wife, family and friends of Dr Hayes at this difficult time.

We know this is a difficult time for colleagues and staff are reminded you can contact the Employee Assistance Programme (1800 995 955) or email eap@vhics.ie which is a free, confidential helpline available to provide 24-hour support to all staff, or you can speak in confidence to your manager or directly to our HR team.

Our thoughts are with Paul’s loved ones at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
