National College of Ireland shortlisted in four categories at Education Awards 2024


In a testament to its commitment to excellence in academia and innovation, National College of Ireland has been shortlisted across four categories for the Education Awards 2024.

The nominations include:

  1. Best Community Academic Collaboration: Recognising NCI’s partnership with the Department of Social Protection.
  2. Best International Collaboration Project: Digital4Business, an EU-funded project aimed at accelerating digital transformation.
  3. Best Research Project: TrainRDM, an EU-funded project which aims to strengthen Open Science education and skills.
  4. International Engagement Award: Enhancing International Student Experience by Digitalisation and Automation, NCI's International Team worked with the College's IT team to create a user-friendly workflow to track visa application/status and an automation hub for students to self-generate letters.

These nominations underscore NCI's continuous pursuit of excellence and its dedication to shaping the future of education both locally and globally.

The Education Awards recognise, encourage and celebrate excellence in the third level education sector on the island of Ireland, including state and privately funded institutions, as well as the not-for-profit National College of Ireland.
