At National College of Ireland, we are committed to supporting researchers through every stage of the research lifecycle. Our team provides professional, researcher-centric assistance - from training in research integrity and information systems to managing post-award processes, ethics reviews, and collaborative agreements.

Research Integrity

National College of Ireland is committed to ensuring the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of our research.

Research Ethics

Facilitating ethical review processes through the Ethics Committee as well as maintaining research governance including servicing the Research Committee (and its sub-committees)

Training

Delivering training on research information systems and tools.

Post-Award Processes

Assisting with post-award processes, including the processing of award documentation in conjunction with NCI’s Company Secretary and LEAR (Legal Entity Appointed Representative), and addressing post-award issues.

Collaborative research

Reviewing and facilitating collaborative research agreements.

Intellectual Property

NCI have a number of policies and procedures in place with regard to the ownership and commercialisation of intellectual property.
