Partner, Asset and Wealth Management Team at PwC Ireland
About Eoin
Eoin Tippins studied HR and Accounting at National College of Ireland between 2003 and 2006, specialising in accounting. After graduating, he went on to build a highly successful career with PwC, where he is now a Partner on the Asset and Wealth Management team, working with clients across a complex and evolving global sector.
One of the achievements Eoin is most proud of is completing his Chartered Accountants exams, a milestone that opened the door to a range of international opportunities including a number of years working with PwC in Boston. That experience allowed him to broaden his professional perspective, develop new ways of working, and gain exposure to different markets and client environments.
Reflecting on his time at NCI, Eoin highlights how opportunities beyond the lecture notes helped shape his confidence and professional identity. Experiences such as public speaking, working with new groups of people, and being comfortable addressing a lecture hall played a key role in preparing him for leadership roles later in his career.
A Lasting Connection
Today, Eoin remains deeply proud to be an NCI alumnus and to see the College continuing to grow and thrive. Twenty years after he graduated, he continues to return to campus and support the NCI community by meeting current students which is a testament to the lasting connection he feels to the place where his professional journey began.
