Eligible students will be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate degree programme and be required to complete an accredited 12-month placement as part of that programme. Candidates must be available to start in late May or early June 2026 and remain on placement for 12 months until June 2027, after which they will return to university to complete the final year of the degree in September 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
Student Engagement:
- Pro-actively calling and following up with students in relation to their job search activity and to ensure attendance at events
- Logging all contact on the CRM system.
- Taking professional headshot photos for students
- Contacting alumni to gain high quality graduate profiles that can be used on social media
Employer Liaison:
- Maintaining, updating and contacting the company contact database.
- Liaising with and responding to all employer queries, following up on jobs received and maintaining contact with employers
- Uploading adverts onto CRM and promoting them via CRM, phone calls, social media, notice boards, vacancy newsletter etc
- Assisting with updating and creating comprehensive high quality handouts and information packs for students.
Events & PR:
- Thinking creatively to promote events (pre, post and during the event) on social media platforms and via email, phone calls, posters etc
- Promoting services and events by developing innovative marketing campaigns
- Managing all administration for events – uploading the event onto the CRM system, promoting it, maintaining attendance lists, sending joining instructions etc
- Hosting employer events by dealing with all administration and PR, meeting and greeting visitors, booking rooms, managing catering and disseminating insights from presentations.
- Taking videos and photos at events.
Social Media:
- Creating a positive, vibrant and proactive presence on social media- creating regular campaigns and showing impact on same. Manging the social media accounts- Instagram and LinkedIn
- Creating engaging social media posts, stories and videos to drive engagement Updating the Careers website on an ongoing basis.
- Producing a calendar of events for each full time programme
- Monitoring closing date deadlines and advertising these to students – producing a high quality closing date document for dissemination to students. (See: https://bit.ly/NCIListofGradProgrammes)
- Producing the weekly vacancy newsletter, analysing trends and acting on these to continuously improve the offering.

Reports, Handouts, Publications and Administration
- Chasing and collecting data for the annual First Destination Survey ensuring a strong (above 80% response rate).
- Maintaining the notice boards and ensuring they are up to date.
- Assisting with the design, implementation and analysis of surveys conducted by the team
Ad Hoc
- Producing POs and liaising with finance
- Assisting Student Services when required including graduation
- Working within the student services team you will also answer queries at the information desk. This role is involved in the student services late rota and providing reception cover when required.
- As part of the wider student services team assisting with various team events including graduation, orientation, exams, clubs & societies events etc.

Shortlisting
HR draft up the shortlisting documents and provide the initial screening to determine if a person meets the essential criteria of the competition. A shortlisting panel is generally made up of two senior grade staff members from the relevant department for which the role is being recruited.
Sharing of your data
Where you have been successfully shortlisted for a post, each interview panel member will be furnished with a copy of the relevant information of those who will be attending interview in order that they can review applications in advance of the interview process. All such information will be returned to NCI and shredded following the competition process.
