Role Overview
NCI, located in Dublin’s International Financial
Services Centre, is one of Ireland’s most progressive
and entrepreneurial third-level institutions. We now
require a forward-thinking Dean to lead our School
of Computing.
Our mission is “to change lives through education”. Our
programmes in Computing, Business, Psychology and Education
produce future leaders who make a positive impact in society.
NCI’s School of Computing is a vibrant community with a team
of 120 full time and associate staff and a significant growth in
student numbers from Ireland and around the world. We serve
more than 2,300 students, with 1,700 at postgraduate level,
in fields such as Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Artificial
Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Software
Development, the Internet of Things, Fintech, and Blockchain
Technologies. The School has an active research agenda
and has developed important international partnerships
and collaborations.
The Dean of the School of Computing will be an individual
of exceptional ability and experience. Their leadership
will enhance and progress NCI’s continued development,
propelling the next phase of our growth.
