The Work Placement Programme is an integral part of several academic programmes in our School of Computing at National College of Ireland.

Mock interviews at a careers event Learn more about the work placement process

Through work placement, the student learns to develop the practical competencies and communication skills necessary to function as a team member in the work place. Many of the skills employers are looking for can only be learned in real-time work experience. It is not just about knowing information, but when and how it is applied. As such, the placement component is an important element in the ongoing development of the student.

We welcome interest from employers who wish to discuss summer or graduate internships for students from other disciplines.
