The Teaching Enhancement function at NCI is dedicated to developing the college’s teaching and assessment practices through the professional development of our faculty.
Faculty professional development activity is focused around six key areas of teaching competence as defined in our Accomplished Teacher Framework:
- Teaching Effectiveness
- Inclusive Practice
- Assessment and Feedback
- Digital Capability
- Reflection and Development
- College Competence
Activity is co-ordinated and communicated through the Teaching Enhancement Hub on NCI Moodle, which provides a space for faculty to engage with the full range of supports available. These include teaching and learning resources, a programme of workshops and seminars, mentoring, and an online community of practice.
