NCI Careers Service
NCI understands the importance of providing students with good career options when they graduate – which is why we have a dedicated Careers Team that begin working with students from day one of their student journey in order to provide the direction, skills and knowledge to successfully identify and secure the right career. Our Careers team have won eight national awards in the last nine years – so you can be guaranteed that you will be provided with the best possible service. They arrange over one hundred careers events annually that connect students with potential employers and provide dedicated support with CV clinics and interview practice.
As a result of providing globally recognised, high-quality qualifications and the exceptional service of our careers department, it is no surprise that 87% of our graduates secure employment within 6 months of graduation. This is an exceptionally high result within the higher education industry and something that NCI is very proud of. Many of our graduates are now working with top multinationals in tech and financial services that have their headquarters in Dublin. To learn more about the success of our graduates please read our graduate destinations reports.
Graduate Work Visa
To support students when they graduate, the Government of Ireland offers one year working visa for undergraduate students and two years for postgraduate students after they graduate from NCI. This allows students to gain invaluable working experience in Ireland and is testament to our commitment to attracting and welcoming the most talented international students.
We understand that moving to a new country, where you might have no family or friends, can be daunting. The NCI International Office will ensure you have all the information, support and guidance you need from your arrival to Ireland until your graduation from NCI. The NCI international team won first place in The Education Awards 2021 for the International Engagement Award – testament to our commitment to providing outstanding student support.
From twelve weeks before the start of classes, we begin engaging with all applicants on the important information needed to help plan the journey to NCI and Ireland. Every week the international support team provides you with information and guides covering different topics such as accommodation, finances, careers, registration and starting at NCI. We hold weekly webinars, giving students the opportunity to ask questions or clear any doubts with the International support team and current NCI students.
A free of charge airport shuttle service is available to students. Our team of drivers will meet you at the airport and safely transport you to your accommodation in Dublin, making your arrival to Ireland stress free and enjoyable.
