The course is designed specifically for officers working in compliance and risk functions within credit unions.
May also be of interest to risk committee members, manager/CEO or directors with a specific interest in the areas of risk and compliance.

Applicants must be working or volunteering in a credit union.
Applicants will normally hold a certificate at level 6 or equivalent qualification in finance, business or other cognate field (e.g. accounting, HR etc.).
Applicants who hold a minimum level 6 or equivalent qualification in a non-cognate field but are working (or have prior experience) in a financial services sector will also be eligible for entry onto the programme.
Applicants who do not hold a level 6 or equivalent qualification will be assessed for entry based on prior learning and experience.
Candidates are asked to submit a personal statement to support their application.
Classes are delivered by way of blended learning which is a mixture of online and face-to-face lectures/tutorials.

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Certificate in Credit Union Compliance and Risk awarded by QQI at level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications.
