Open information event Master of Arts in Educational Practice (MAEP)  - all you need to know!

The MA in Educational Practice (MAEP) is the flagship programme of NCI’s Centre for Education & Lifelong Learning programmes. It is an advanced qualification for education professionals and leaders in workplace learning. Applicants from FET, Post-Primary, Early Years and Workforce education are especially welcome.

The programme culminates in a practice-based research project. Participants will ask and seek answers to powerful and critical questions about their own practice. This work can be on specific themes such as digital learning design, leading workplace learning, universal design for learning, curriculum innovation, education for a sustainable world, and early years pedagogy.

The MAEP is a two-year, part-time evening delivered programme. Most classes are online live streamed with in-person attendance required for two Saturday seminars each semester. Year 1 focuses on foundational skills and knowledge, with Year 2 devoted mainly to the practice-based research project. Advanced entry to Y2 is available to those demonstrating sufficient existing competence.

If you think this may be the programme for you then sign up for the session below. You will hear from Dr Conor Mellon, Programme Director, along with graduates of the programme, who will discuss what you can expect from studying the MA in Educational Practice at National College of Ireland.
