There are lots of great Clubs and Societies to get actively involved with on campus. Whether you are a sports enthusiast, enjoy being part of team, share a special interest or enjoy being engaged in the community there is bound to be an opportunity for all students to participate. Also, if a club or society doesn’t already exist you can set one up.

Clubs and Societies Awards

The Awards are one of the most prestigious and eagerly anticipated events on the student calendar. Considerable drive and energy is required to make a Club or Society successful. The Awards officially recognise the achievements and acknowledge the talent, commitment and determination of individual students, teams, and groups.

Achievements

  • Badminton Club – Finalist CUSAI Division 3 League
  • Basketball Club – Winners Division 3 Basketball Ireland Colleges League
  • Cricket Club – Hosted inaugural outdoor inter-collegiate competition
  • Cycling Club – Held inaugural Cycle Challenge and raised €620 for Central Remedial Clinic
  • Fashion Society – Held 6th annual Fashion Show and raised €1,000 for Central Remedial Clinic
  • Fashion Society – BICS National Small College Society of the Year Nominee
  • Gaelic Football Club – Winners Higher Education Championship Cup
  • Peer Mentor Society – BICS National Small College Society of the Year Nominee
  • Peer Mentor Society – Held inaugural White Collar Boxing event and raised €3,600 in aid of Pieta House
  • Soccer Club – Finalist in the Colleges Football Association of Ireland Plate Cup
  • Voices of NCI Society – Held Sing for Simon event and raised €420 in aid of Dublin Simon Community
