National College of Ireland has announced plans to develop a new Level 8 Honours Degree Apprenticeship in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
The announcement was made by NCI President, Prof. Gina Quin, at the Generation Apprenticeships Partners Meeting on 11th June.
The proposed apprenticeship, which is targeted for launch in 2028, will build on the strong relationship between NCI and CIPD. NCI currently delivers a range of CIPD-accredited programmes from certificate to master’s level, supporting students and employers in the field of people management and human resources.
The new apprenticeship will further strengthen the College’s commitment to providing learners with the opportunity to combine academic study with practical workplace experience, while earning a degree qualification.
Further details on the programme will be announced as development progresses.
