Payments for international students
Your full tuition fee must be paid before you travel to Ireland. We offer a few payment options for international student payments.
Option 1: We have partnered with Cohort Go Payments to offer a fairer, smarter and easier way to pay international student expenses. Through our dedicated payments portal, you can make international payments in your local currency with competitive foreign exchange rates and no fees. You’ll receive real-time tracking updates via email, so you’ll always know where your payments are from start to finish.
Option 2: Pay via International Bank Transfer directly to our bank account.
You must quote your name and student ID number on your transfer so that we can trace your payment.
Please do not lodge a cash amount to the NCI bank account - this will not be accepted.
International Bank account details to pay your tuition fees:
Account Name: National College of Ireland
Bank Name: Allied Irish Banks
Branch: 7/12 Dame Street, Dublin 2
Eircode (Postcode): D02 VY45
IBAN: IE10 AIBK 9333 8430 9230 88
Account Number: 30923088

Option 3: Pay online with TransferMate. This option is especially useful for students who require an entry visa to travel to Ireland. The TransferMate receipt is accepted by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) for study visa applications and also during arrival at Ireland as proof of payment of tuition fees.
All courses at NCI are subject to strict limits and places are only confirmed when a student pays their fees in full. Applicants should note that submission of a payment does not guarantee a place, as seats are only allocated on a first come/ first served basis.
Once you have made the payment you are required to:
1. Download the Payment Transfer Form and complete it in full.
2. Email your completed Payment Transfer Form together with a copy of your proof of payment (for example your bank transfer receipt) to email@example.com.
This means that we can send you a receipt for your payment. Please remember that it may take five working days for your payment to reach the NCI Bank Account. Once we receive the payment into our Bank Account your fee receipt will usually be ready within three working days.
It is the policy of NCI not to issue receipts for any payments of less than €7,500. For payments of less than €7,500 NCI will acknowledge receipt of the payment by email only. Where an applicant makes multiple payments, NCI will only issue payment receipt(s) where thresholds of €7,500 or higher have been reached.
Payment plans are available to international students, but are strictly limited to those who have been living in Ireland for more than one year. Students returning to NCI for subsequent years of study will be eligible to apply for a payment plan. For more details on payment plan options please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
