About Cora
Cora Lyons is a graduate of National College of Ireland's BA in Human Resources and Accounting programme and has built an accomplished career in human resource management spanning more than two decades.
Since joining Circle K Ireland in 2004, Cora has held a variety of HR leadership roles, steadily progressing through the organisation while helping to support and develop its people strategy. Her career has included positions such as Employee Relations Manager and Senior Human Resources Manager before being appointed People Director in 2024. In this role, she leads Circle K Ireland's HR strategy, working closely with senior leadership teams across Ireland and Europe to support colleagues, strengthen workplace culture and drive organisational development.

In addition to her National College of Ireland qualification, Cora holds a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland, combining expertise in both human resources and employment legislation throughout her career.

Throughout her time with Circle K, Cora has played an important role in supporting employee development and fostering positive workplace practices. Her promotion to People Director reflects more than twenty years of experience within the organisation and a long-standing commitment to helping both people and businesses thrive.
Her work has also contributed to wider conversations around workplace culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, areas that continue to shape modern organisations and leadership practices.
Looking back during NCI's 75th anniversary year, Cora's career demonstrates the lasting value of a strong foundation in human resources education and the opportunities that can emerge through continuous professional development and dedication to people-focused leadership.
