About Seán

Seán Buckley is a graduate of National College of Ireland's Diploma in Management and Employee Relations programme and has built a distinguished career in financial services spanning more than three decades. During that time, he has held a wide range of leadership positions across retail banking, lending and customer operations.

In 2024, Seán was appointed Director for Area East at Bank of Ireland, a role that sees him overseeing 54 branches and outlets across Dublin city as well as County Kildare and County Wicklow, supporting more than 480 colleagues. The appointment followed a series of senior leadership positions within the bank, including Head of Mortgage Originations and Head of Customer Operations.
