Event date: 25/11/2026 17:00 - 19:00 Export event

Celebrating NCI's Partnership with CIPD

As part of National College of Ireland's 75th Anniversary celebrations, we are delighted to host a thought leadership event in partnership with CIPD exploring one of the most important questions facing organisations and individuals today: how can people and technology work together effectively and sustainably?

Date: Wednesday 25th November 2026
Time: 5.00pm - 7.00pm
Location: Kelly Theatre, National College of Ireland, Mayor Square, Dublin 1

About the Event

Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way work is organised, delivered and experienced. As technology becomes increasingly embedded in our working lives, organisations and individuals face important questions about how work should be designed, what skills will matter most, and how people and technology can work together effectively.

While many conversations about AI focus on disruption and uncertainty, this event takes a practical and positive perspective through the concept of Tech for Good.

A Tech for Good approach focuses on the intentional design and use of technology to create positive social, economic and organisational outcomes while ensuring that people remain at the centre of change. Applied to the workplace, it seeks to enhance human capability, support good work and drive sustainable organisational success.

Keynote Speaker

The session will be facilitated by Cleo McCormack, Director of the Future of Work Institute at Cpl, who will introduce the principles of Tech for Good in the context of workforce design and explore how organisations can redesign the way work gets done in an AI-enabled world.

Through a combination of keynote insights and interactive roundtable discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to explore practical approaches to leading change and shaping the future of work.
