Update: We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary interruption to Moodle this afternoon.
Earlier today, a worldwide issue affecting a technology component used by many online systems prompted us to take Moodle offline as a precautionary measure. While this was disruptive, protecting the security, integrity and reliability of our digital learning environment is always our priority. We took this action to ensure the continued safety of students' learning experience at NCI.
We are pleased to confirm that Moodle is now fully operational.
If any students experienced difficulties submitting an assignment during the period that Moodle was unavailable, between 2:30pm and 4:30pm today, please be assured that no academic penalty will apply for late submission arising from this service interruption.
To allow affected students sufficient time to upload their work, any assignment due this afternoon should be submitted through Moodle no later than 5:30pm Thursday 22nd October 2026.
Our Library System has also been affected but alternative systems are available within the library to borrow books. We will keep you advised of progress.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we resolved this external issue. We appreciate that service interruptions can be frustrating and apologise again for any inconvenience caused.
