NCI announces new scholarship fund for International Students

National College of Ireland has announced a new scholarship fund worth €75,000 to support high-achieving international students enrolling in taught master’s programmes beginning this September 2026. The initiative was announced at a celebration in New Delhi marking NCI’s 75th anniversary.

The scholarship will see a fund of €75,000 for students applying from India with a matched amount for international students applying from other countries.

Scholarships covering 50% tuition fees will be awarded based on academic merit, professional experience and a personal statement outlining the applicant’s commitment to their programme of study and the difference the scholarship will make in their career. Priority fields include data analytics, fintech, cybersecurity and human resource management; all areas where Irish employers report acute skills shortages.

Commenting on the announcement, Robert Ward, Director of Marketing and International Development at National College of Ireland said:

“We are delighted to introduce this new scholarship initiative to support talented postgraduate students from all over the world. Through these scholarships, we aim to attract ambitious graduates who want to develop advanced skills, contribute to Ireland’s thriving business and technology sectors, and become part of our diverse international community.”

The College is currently taking applications for courses beginning this September

Applicants should apply for their chosen programme at NCI and then once they receive their offer of a place, apply for this additional scholarship. All details of the scholarship are available on the NCI website.
