Stephanie is the Senior Education Specialist in the Centre for Education and Lifelong Learning in NCI. She has over 10 years’ experience in working in Higher Education. Her early career was working as a Learning Support Teacher at primary school level. As a Senior Education Specialist, Stephanie plays a pivotal role in implementing strategic plans and overseeing the implementation of new programmes and management of existing ones in the Centre. She has a passion for lifelong learning and access opportunities to education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of placement learning processes on the initial teacher education for further education teachers and early childhood education and care programmes.
  • Ongoing programme development via QQI programme validations and revalidations within the Centre.
  • Development and delivery of projects in partnership with external organisations such as SOLAS, ETB’s and the Department of Education.
  • Supporting and managing processes on P-TECH (Pathways in Technology) which involve liaising with stakeholders such as post primary school teachers, industry partners and the Department of Education.
