Better Options College Fair at NCI, November 24th

This event is a must for students with a disability or specific learning difficulty.

Leaving school and going on to college can be a daunting process and, when you have a disability or a specific learning difficulty, you will have particular questions and concerns you would like to address.

The Better Options college fair, held in National College of Ireland on 24th November from 10am-1pm, is the ideal event for secondary school students to find out about college courses, support services and access routes for people with disabilities.

This is the second year that the event, run by AHEAD (the Association for Higher Education Access & Disability) will take place at NCI, so we caught up with Karen and Catherine from our Learning and Disability Support team, to find out about the event, what you can expect on the day and the types of supports you can expect from the college of your choice.

All the main colleges and universities will be present on the day, along with representatives from the Disability Access Route to Education (Dare) scheme. Read more about DARE, or learn more about the student support services at National College of Ireland
