NCI and Metro Herald win APMC Star Award for Seven Deadly Skills series

Along with our high-quality courses, great location and friendly, welcoming atmosphere, National College of Ireland is known for its engaging and informative events.

With guest speakers drawn from our lecturing team alongside other national and international experts, our events focus on our specialist areas which include business, computing, marketing, psychology and more.

We don’t like to brag, but you might remember our Legends In Your Lunchtime series won an award for excellence in public relations, while the dot conf was dubbed ‘the best small tech conference in the country’ by Karlin Lillington of The Irish Times.

And now we have another shiny trophy for the cabinet! The Seven Deadly Skills series, which we organised and ran in partnership with Metro Herald, was recently awarded an APMC Star Award in the Best Promotional Innovation category. These events, which were supported by Jacob’s Creek, provided people with the skills and knowledge to advance their careers, in a truly unique and atmospheric setting.

If you missed out on that particular series, there's no need to fret – we have several more tricks up our sleeves. To be the first to hear of future events, just find us on Twitter or Facebook.

Our next event is on April 23rd with Dave Allen, Founding Member of post-punk band Gang of Four, Adjunct Professor in Digital Strategy at the University of Oregon, and Beats Music’s Artist and Industry Advocate – find out more or book your free place here.
