NCI's BA (Hons) in Psychology is accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)

National College of Ireland’s BA (Hons) in Psychology has been accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

This accreditation allows graduates of the psychology course, introduced two years ago as an honours degree programme in NCI’s School of Business, to apply for professional postgraduate programmes in such specialisms as clinical, educational, occupational and counselling psychology.

Psychology is all about the human mind and behaviour and the course addresses fascinating questions such as: what shapes our personality? How do children develop and learn? What can make people happy or sad?

The degree offers a variety of career choices as well as the option of further study, and several of these areas have been explored through NCI’s recent talk series, In The Psychologists’ Chair.

Read an overview of some of these talks here:

  • Inside The Mind Of A Psychopath
  • Winning: The Mindset for Success
  • The Reality of Cyberbullying
