Complete the Arrival Form:
After booking your flight you must inform NCI when you will arrive by completing the International Student Arrival Form.
If staying in private rented accommodation you should have a contact name and number with you when you arrive.
Make sure to complete the Arrival Form before you start your journey from your home country and mail to NCI at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Book your airport pick up:
As part of NCI’s support for international students, NCI offers a free airport collection service. A licensed and approved taxi driver will collect you from the airport and bring you to your accommodation in Dublin City Center.
Request for Airport Pick up service in the International Student Arrival Form and provide your flight details. Send the completed form at least five days before you arrive Dublin.
NCI will then email you to confirm the driver name, contact number and driver’s picture, so you have it when you arrive in Dublin.
Arriving In Dublin:
When you arrive in Dublin Airport you will go through Immigration. As a student you may be asked to provide a letter from NCI, so you should have the following documents with you in your hand luggage:
NCI Offer/ Acceptance Letter & Receipts
Airport Collection Form with the contact name and number of NCI Driver
The Immigration Officer will stamp your passport giving you up to 90 days to obtain your student visa.
Travelling From Dublin Airport to Dublin City
NCI is located in the city centre, making travel from the airport easy and convenient.
If you decide to travel by public transport from Dublin Airport, there are a number of bus options to get to City from the Airport. Dublin Bus Airlink 747 stops at the Spencer Hotel, directly behind NCI. The Aircoach service runs 24 hours a day and stops close to the College.
Taxis are all metered and you should also use a licensed taxi. The fare to the city centre will cost approximately €25 with extra charges for each additional passenger and for carrying luggage.
